the sun is finally shining down on my little town of ephraim. it's amazing how the leaves seem to shimmer when the sun smiles down on us. i love the feeling of warm grass, and the sun on my face. it makes walking around campus less of a chore, and more of an experience to behold. this place is so small and empty, but that is what makes it so beautiful. sometimes when you live in big cities you forget what the country looks like underneath the heat of the sun. the plants are alive, and the fields seem to whisper about all of the stories they have to tell. the streets are not crowded with people nor garbage, they are clean and bright. the sun seems to make everyone and everything around here come alive. who would have thought that i could actually fall in love with this place? i am grateful for the opportunity that god has given me to come down here and experience "little denmark" in a way i could have never imagined. don't we all have something we can be grateful for today?

-shine on,
glitter girl.
