"when adults say, 'teenagers think they are invincible' with that sly, stupid smile on their faces, they don't know how right they are. we need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken. we think that we are invincible because we are. we cannot be born and we cannot die. like all energy, we can only change shapes and sizes and manifestations. they forget that when they get old. they get scared of losing and failing. but that part of us greater than the sum of our parts cannot end, and so it cannot fail."
-John Green

this book changed my life.
i recommend reading it.
although, excuse the expletives.
if you are offended by that, do not read it.
but if you are open, pull it out as soon as you can.

OHMYGOSH. You just quoted John Green. We are now best friends. HE IS MY MOST FAVORITE AUTHOR ON THE PLANET EXCEPT NOT BECAUSE HARRY POTTER EXISTS. Yeah. Also, run on sentences are cool. So there.

hannah; i LOVE john green. he is probably one of the most inspiring authors under the "teen angst drama" category. i can't get enough of him.
but yess, harry potter cannot be beat. i classify that as its own genre. genre amazing.
